Elixir "Arctika+", a member of a new class of oncologycal and gerontological protectors, can be used both as monotherapy and together with other medicine.

Dosage and administration
|
10-15 ml of the elixir is taken on an empty stomach 30 minutes before meals twice daily (in the morning and in the evening). One shouldn't drink it at one gulp and take water after ingestion, so far as the elixir promotes the nervous system of the patient to release mediators of pleasure (enkephalins and и endorphins) that serve as stress-protectors.
Healing course for oncological diseases: First course - 500 ml per 12 days.
During first 4 days - 15 ml twice daily (in the morning and in the evening).
During the next 4 days - 20 ml three times daily (in the morning, in the afternoon and in the evening).
During the last 4 days - 15 ml twice daily (in the morning and in the evening). After five-day break if necessary the course can be repeated according to the same treatment regimen.

Preventive and supportive course of treatment

15 ml 2 times daily (in the morning and in the evening) during 1 month.
Preventive course of treatment should be undertaken twice a year.
For upper respiratory tract diseases, the medication should be instilled nasally. Daily dose is 3 ml of 33% aqueous solution of the medicine (1 ml of elixir and 2 ml of boiled water). 5 drops into each nostril 4-5 times during 2 weeks (alcohol concentration shouldn't exceed 11%, otherwise instillation is painful). |

Actions
|
Elixir "Arctika+" normalizes the functions of hypothalamus (the biological clock and the host computer of a brain) thereby has nonspecific antistress and adaptive effect, makes for functional recovery of реreproductive system. Medico-prophylactic use of the elixir in cancer therapy is related to its antineoplastic character (i. e. the ability to resolve tumours) and antimetastatic effects, as well as its capacity to relieve the manifestations of endotoxicosis, provoked by radiotherapy and chemotherapy (alleviates the degree of severity of asthenia and hastens the restoration of hematological index). These curative effects are conditioned not only by the abilities of the elixir components to stimulate the involvement of the immune system in antitumoural protection (Т- and В-cell components of immune system, macrophages, dendritic cells, natural killer-cells and complement systems) but also the influence on the balance of biologic factors regulating the apoptosis process (a mechanism that allows cells to self-destruct).
The elixir favours the acceleration of the reparative processes in the mucous membrane of gastrointestinal tract and the reduction of its defensive properties by renewing the synthesis of secretory immunoglobulin A.
The plant components of the elixir lower the concentration of glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides and lipoproteins in blood (antidiabetic and hypocholesterol activity), prevent from hemoconcentration, have anti-oxidant action, broaden the diameter of vessels. However the mechanism of action of the biological medication hasn't completely deciphered yet. |

Contraindication
|
The elixir shouldn't be used in patients with:
pregnancy, lactation, epilepsy, severe hypertensive and ischemia (of third degree), cirrhosis of liver, individual intolerance to some components of the elixir. Use in children below the age of 12 is not recommended |

Adverse reactions
|
Together with the main pharmatherapeutic and pharma prophylactic actions the elixir can have unwanted effect and provoke allergic reactions. Sometimes slight and short term disarrangements of gastrointestinal tract have been reported (diarrhea, vomiting, anorexia), these effects are caused by individual reaction to some components of the elixir and it's unnecessary to treat them medically. In cases of simultaneous introduction of the elixir and thyroid-stimulating hormones hormonal treatment should be corrected two weeks before the intake of the elixir "Arctic+" (staged decrease of the dosage).
The elixir shouldn't be taken together with barbiturates, tranquilizers, neuroleptics, immunostimulants, for these preparations and medications lower the clinical efficacy of the elixir. Persons driving different means of transportation and dealing with potentially dangerous machines, should take the elixir with caution.
The over dosage provoked temporary overexcitation of central nervous system. |
